Being the ambitious and path breaker personality that she is, Maddy took a new year resolution, and also worked towards it! Like many other people with Down Syndrome, Maddy also struggled with her weight for a long time. Last year she decided to chase her dreams and thus lost 40 pounds. After that there was no looking back!
Maddy really wants to change the way people discriminate against disability through gaining attention through social media. She wants people to know that Down Syndrome is a blessing, something to be celebrated.
Her proud mom says ““I think it is time people realized that people with Down syndrome can be sexy and beautiful and should be celebrated”.
